The axe is a weapon that was used in Friday the 13th, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII and the reboot. It is actually the second most used weapon by Jason Voorhees. It was also infamous for the use of it by Chris Higgins in Part III as she hit Jason in the head with it at the end of the film. This seemingly fatal injury only subdued Jason Voorhees. It was also the weapon that Victor Faden used to kill Joey Burns.
In Friday the 13th: The Game[]
The Axe is one of the weapons in Friday the 13th: The Game.
This weapon boasts very high damage and strong durability, and as a result it's best used by counselors who have high strength stats. It only takes a few solid hits on Jason to knock him down as well as potentially remove his mask. Its long reach can also help keep Jason at bay by hitting him from a distance. The high damage stat is offset by its mediocre stun ability, so use this weapon when attacking Jason is the priority, not keeping him down and stunned. Remember, because of its slower attack speed, it takes some time to do a swing, similar to the Baseball bat.
The axe is one of two weapons Tommy Jarvis needs to use to finish off Jason for good. An axe can always be found at Jason’s Shack, inside the bookshelf on the right as you enter. You’ll need the sweater from the cabin to kill Jason anyway, so it’s an easy grab if your team doesn’t already have another axe or machete.
