Mr. Garikes is a character in the Friday the 13th reboot, in which he is portrayed by Bob King.
Biography[]
Owning the barn where Donnie works, Garikes is thought poorly of by his employee, who refers to him as an "old mummy fart" behind his back. In the summer of 2008, while driving along a deserted road in the middle of the night, Garikes nearly hits Trent Sutton, who had stumbled out of the woods and onto the road. Thinking Trent is a hitchhiker, Garikes stops his pickup truck and motions for him to hop on. When Trent hesitates (having yet to see Garikes face and thinking he may be his pursuer Jason Voorhees) to get on the truck, the impatient Garikes sticks his head out the driver side window and sees Trent be impaled by Jason's machete. Thrown into a panic after seeing Trent attacked, Garikes starts desperately trying to restart his truck and does, speeding away from the scene with Trent dangling from the vehicle, Jason having impaled him on a spike protruding from the back of it.
