"Jason...It's ok, you can stop now."
―Whitney to Jason while holding the locket

Jason's Locket was a piece of jewelry that once belonged to Pamela Voorhees in Friday the 13th.

Overview

The locket was originally worn by Pamela to remember her son, Jason Voorhees, after his drowning and presumed death at Camp Crystal Lake as a child. Pamela wore it during her killing spree at the camp until she was later beheaded. Jason, who somehow survived and watched his mother be decapitated, took the locket and put it in her mother's Jewelry Box at the Voorhees House.

Later, Whitney Miller and her boyfriend, Mike found it. Mike then put it on Whitney's neck. The two were later found by Jason, Mike (as well as the rest of Whitney's friends) were killed. Noticing her resemblance to his mother, Jason decided to spare Whitney, but kept her locked up in his underground lair. Weeks later, after breaking down over the loss of his mother, Jason noticed the locket on Whitney's neck and took it from her.

The locket was lastly seen when Jason was fighting Clay Miller, Whitney's brother. Whitney used it as a decoy to calm Jason down. Clay stabbed Jason in the back with a bear trap, and tied him to a wood chipper where Whitney impaled Jason with his Machete and killed him. The next morning, the locket, along with Jason's body, were thrown into Crystal Lake. Jason jumped out of the water and grabbed Whitney, which left her and Clay's fate unknown.

Trivia
